Autumn 2013 will seeÂ Virtual Desktop providers entrustITÂ expand into additional premises at their head office in Ringwood, UK, doubling available space for their support team in preparation for additional personnel.
CEO Jeff Dodd commented “we were already looking for additional space and were resigned to having to uproot the whole team in early 2014, however, the opportunity to take the adjoining unit means we have sufficient space for another 3 years at least and reduces staff uncertainty.”
After a brief refurbishment process, the new suite will be used to house the management, accounting Â and administration functions, giving the support team room to expand and toÂ provide new areas for server build, hardware maintenance and implementation projects.
Delivered in less than a week, the new environment enables Corinium personnel to access their systems from any web enabled location and to flex their IT requirements up and down to match the changing staffing patterns of their business.
The entrust Hosted Exchange service has been upgraded to the latest release from Microsoft, completing a 12 month infrastructure refresh process.
As well as access to new Mail Archiving tools, the new service is tightly integrated into our white label Reseller Portal, allowing Resellers to provision new email accounts – both as a standalone purchase and for a VirtualÂ Desktop user.
To support our expanding group of virtualÂ desktop reseller partners, entrust have launched a provisioning website intended to make maintenance of existing customers simpler to manage.
After creation of a new customer hosted desktop environment by the entrust Support Team, the reseller can add/update/suspend and remove users, provision additional services and deliver additional software products to a virtual desktopÂ without assistance.
Integrated to our Billing Engine, changes will be immediately reflected in the Reseller/Customer bill for the next month giving all our Resellers complete control and visibility of their customer hosted desktop environments.
The Reseller portal is the result of almost 9 months activity which has seen a number of core services upgraded to allow for improved automation. Additional services will be added to the portal over time, allowing a Reseller to provision the full range of entrustITÂ cloud products from a single place.

VirtualÂ desktop providers, entrustIT have provisioned a web based support system allowing customers to view service status updates, browse a knowledge base and report new issues to the support team.
As well as creating new support tickets, an entrust user will be able to track the progress of their existing tickets and exchange information with entrust support. Customer administrators can see all tickets for their organisation.
The Support System can be found hereÂ and will require an entrust UserID and Password.
